About

Bali Lodge swimming pool with meditating stone Buddha, coconut palms, palapa roof, and sun loungers in Máncora

Why Máncora

It's not the kind of place plastered across every travel list, and that's part of the draw. Máncora has quietly become a favorite with digital nomads and travelers from across Latin America looking for a proper, relaxing getaway rather than a packed itinerary — off the beaten path rather than undiscovered. Warm water, constant sun, plenty of places to stay, and a small but real nightlife when you feel like it — laid-back rather than loud.

The Idea

Bali Lodge is named for exactly what it's chasing — that same sense of calm you'd find on Bali's shores, rebuilt on Peru's. A little piece of Bali, dropped onto Máncora, built as a base for a proper relaxing holiday — beach 50 steps from your door, nobody asking you to have a plan.

Two Kinds of Day

Some days, the plan is no plan — a hammock, the pool, a walk along the sand as the light turns gold. Other days, Máncora's the reason you set an alarm. Take a boat out to watch humpback whales pass by in season. Book a guided swim with sea turtles. Catch a wave, try stand-up paddleboarding or kitesurfing, or head inland for a soak in the natural mud baths. Come back and book a massage if the adventure wore you out. Either way, you end up back here by sunset — hammock waiting, pool still warm.
